Guttenberg’s invention and himself as a person are very influential in quite a few terms. Reason being is he kind of set up a basis for the way everything works. With his invention he changed how people think or work. Not only did his invention bring something new it made some many more possibilities. The start of mass production had been started during this. I think Guttenberg was a very influential person to design he made new possibilities with how things were seen and perceived. He made it possible for things to be almost exactly replicated.

Honestly without Guttenbergs invention who knows where we would be today. Guttenbergs invention was a huge step in technology and how print making was done. Without his invention we would have a huge set back in the matters of how things were done. I think Guttenbergs invention is a HUGE part of where we are with technology along with the start of mass production which in my opinion was started up. His invention made it possible for the same exact work to be seen by people across the world. It also made things easier to be recorded and expand everyone’s knowledge by having the same exact book and everything if that makes sense. Guttenberg created almost endless possibilities in my opinion with his invention.

Creating our own alphabet was a challenging yet fun process. The hardest part in my opinion was developing the basic traits of our letters. In our alphabet we tried to use a bit of a mix of symbols and letters to distinguish our alphabet. Our alphabet was majority based on letter forms. Each letter somewhat resembled the older alphabets we had seen in class.

As time went on it was almost as if alphabets evolved over time. I’m not saying this applies for all types of language but if you go back and look at the older languages and their alphabets you can see some similarities some which may be very strong while some may be lesser. As language developed I think they started to further away from picture based because language was becoming so complicated that it could be not be dipicted with pictures anymore. Language has came so far since it first started developing in my personal opinion. For the most part in my beliefs that we quit using pictures to communicate and such was the vastness of our language would be to hard to translate with pictures. Or another problem someone may experience is the amount of time is takes to draw a picture even though they may be simple. As people I have found out that’s it’s just easier to communicate with letters and words than it may be drawing something out.

Why were cave paintings so significant? They were one of the first ways to communicate and tell stories. These drawings are more than just a picture. They were used to tell stories of ancestors and record what has happened in my thoughts. Personally I think the creators of these cave drawings were intentional in their purpose. One cave drawing can speak out loud almost. That’s what I feel was the intentional purpose of these drawings even during the creation. Cave drawings can probably serve as multiple purposes. A lot of these drawings we believe to be stories that have happened or tales of their ancestors. The main purpose I believe it to communicate due to lack of things. Some believe they left these to see as time passed. It’s hard to say considering we weren’t around then. If I were one of the early humans I would have liked to leave something that describes my life or something to do with new endeavors even though there to see what happened back then during the era of early human life. I believe that based off of these cave drawings that it is an inherent attribute in human life to communicate. Without this ability we would be lacking so much today. Communication is honestly a big key in success due to being able to get across ideas and such to help figure things out. But communication doesn’t always come out clearly so it could also be a downfall but overall I think it is inherent and a reason for our achievements as human.
