As part of this course, I would like each student to create a blog entry about the material covered in the course each week. For those interested in any field, blogs can prove a great way to get your thoughts out to the public and promote yourself. This is especially important for those majoring in graphic design. You will need to post to your blog each week. Each blog post will be worth 10 points of your grade for a total of 150 points. The blog will be a class blog instead of individual blogs. I will send you an invite to add yourself as a contributor to the blog.

Blog entries can be either written form, video form, or some combination of both. You need to use proper, college level grammar as outlined in the syllabus. Your written posts should be about 200 words. A video post should be about two minutes.

Your blogs will be a reflection on the material for the week. I will provide some basic prompts for each week, but you can choose to highlight anything you find interesting about the week’s material. The idea is to reflect on the material and connect to your personal interests and background. These blog entries should be seen as another tool to help with your manifesto assignment.
